Traffic Manager’s Office

Permanent Gallery|

This office was the hub of railroad operation for the Nevada Northern Railway. From this bay window, the traffic manager kept a watchful eye on the trains within the yard and those on the line. It was the job of the traffic manager to keep the trains running and from running into each other.

Everything on the traffic manager’s desk was originally here in 1907, including the typewriter, telegraph, fan, and stapler.
