Payroll Office

Begin your journey through the museum in the former payroll office for the Nevada Northern Railway. Here visitors will learn about the mining booms in White Pine County and the contruction of the Nevada Northern Railway. Shortly after the railroad building was completed in 1906, the town’s population more than doubled as people flocked to Ely.
On display are original records, mimeographs, and adding machines.
