Join the Nevada State Railroad Museum East Ely for a free, guided Heritage Tour of White Pine County’s original county seat—Hamilton—led by Museum Director and historian Sean Pitts. Explore the rich history of Nevada’s first eastern mining boom using historic maps and photographs, and learn how the 1867 silver discovery launched one of the most intense mining rushes in American history.

Time & Meeting Location:
Meet at 8:45 a.m. at the Great Basin College parking lot in Ely. The caravan will depart at 9:00 a.m.
